He wanted to earn his PhD before he died. Furthermore, he met and fell in love with a girl named Jane Wilde. They were married in 1965. All of that gave him a reason to live. Despite his sickness Hawking has lived a full and productive life with the help of science and modern medicine. In 1985 he lost his voice for good following a tracheotomy. Although he is confined to a wheelchair and cannot talk, he can communicate using a touch pad computer and a voice synthesizer.

Research on Black Holes

A black hole’s edges, called the event horizon, can be detected. Hawking proved that the surface area of the event horizon could only increase, not decrease. So that, when two black holes merged the surface area of the new hole was larger than the sum of the two original.

Hawking’s work in modern cosmology and in theoretical astronomy and physics is widely recognized. In 1979 was named to a professorial chair at Cambridge University that was once held by Sir Isaac Newton. Moreover, he has earned a host of honorary degrees, awards, prizes, and lectureships from the major universities and scientific societies of Europe and America. Carmencitta Magazine - A Device That Can Read Your Emotions 2

In fact, researchers say that the system works by receiving wireless signals off a human being. Moreover, there is a dubbed EQ Radio that analyzes the signals that it gets from a person’s body. After that, the device monitors the person’s breathing as well as his or her heartbeat. In fact, for the device to detect such things, the body needs to be hooked up by a host of sensors which are used in order to detect someone’s emotions.

A very important benefit

Inventors sad that applying this kind of methods in order to know how a person is feeling, can have a major health care benefit; this system is able to determine if you are on the way of getting depressed before even you knowing that. “The idea is that you can enable machines to recognize our emotions so they can interact with us at much deeper levels,” those words were said by Fadel Adib; a doctoral student at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab, and a helper in creating the design of the system.

4 Categories

Carmencitta Magazine - A Device That Can Read Your Emotions 1

In fact, the device is designed so that it can detect 4 categories of emotions such as: excited, happy, angry, and sad. Moreover, once it detects your emotions, the system combines them and traces the results onto a graph where one axis represents arousal and the other represents whether your emotion is positive or negative. After that, the graph will be used in order to classify your emotion into one of the four broad categories.

Carmencitta Magazine - How to day trade 2

Before we start giving you some tips about day trading, let us first explain to you what day trading is. In fact, day trading is when market positions are held only for a short time. Moreover, what happens is, the trader opens as well as closes the same position on the same day. However, back in the 90s, day trading concept got a bad reputation because some beginners started applying it, without even applying tested stock trading strategies. If you are a beginner, and you do not want to make the same mistake, keep on reading this article about how to day trade.

For your entry points, look for scenarios where supply and demand are drastically imbalanced.

Carmencitta-Magazine-How-to-day-trade-3.

You have to keep in mind that, financial markets are just like anything else; if the supply is near exhaustion, and you can still find people willing to buy, the price is probably about to go higher. However, if there is too much supply and you can’t find any willing buyers, the price will eventually go down.

Carmencitta-Magazine-How-to-day-trade-4Always set price targets before you jump in.

Whenever you are thinking about buying anything, decide beforehand how much money you want to make. After that, stick by your decision on the price. In fact, this makes you prepared for the amount of money you will receive, and keeps you from becoming greedy.

Be patient.

Carmencitta Magazine - How to day trade 5

As strange as it may seem, the most successful day traders, do not trade on a daily basis. However, they may be on their computer, watching what is happening in the market, but if they don’t see any beneficial opportunity, they will not start a trade on that day, and that seems logical. In fact, most people go against that tip, and trade on something out of an impatient desire to just do something! Try your best to not be like them, and wait for the perfect moment, then trade your plan.

Kepler-186f, ‘Earth’s Cousin’

Carmencitta-Magazine-Kepler-186-f-earth-cousin

A newly discovered planet nicknamed “Earth’s cousin”, has been found about 500 light-years away from Earth. The planet, named Kepler-186f, is the first Earth-size alien planet found orbiting within its star’s habitable zone. Only less than 10% larger than Earth, Kepler-186f is the closest planet to Earth in size ever found in its star habitable zone, but its mass, density and composition are not known. What else do you want to know about the new alien planet discovery?

Here are few things to bear in mind about Kepler-186f:

Carmencitta-Magazine-Kepler-186-f-earth-cousin-1

Kepler-186f whiz around its sun once every 130 days and receives one-third the energy that Earth receives from its sun, placing it near the outer edge of the habitable zone. If you can stand on the surface of Kepler-186f, the brightness of its sun at high noon would seem as bright as our sun is nearly an hour before sunset on Earth.

Kepler-186f resides in the Kepler-186 star system about 500 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. The system is also home to 4 inner planets, Kepler-186b, Kepler-186c, Kepler-186d and Kepler-186e, seen lined up in orbit around a host red dwarf star that’s half the size and mass of the sun.

Kepler-186f is a history-making find

Kepler-186f is the first Earth-size planet found in the habitable zone of its star. This means that the planet, which is only slightly bigger than Earth, is in the part of its star system where liquid water can exist on the planet’s surface.

Astronomers have found other planets orbiting in the habitable zones of their stars, but this is the first time a planet this close in size to Earth has ever been found orbiting within its star’s habitable zone.

Carmencitta Magazine - Kepler 186 f - earth cousin 2

Life could thrive … maybe

Due to Kepler-186’s location in the habitable zone around its star, this planet might be a place where life may thrive. It is possible that the planet has an atmosphere that may help keep water in liquid form on its surface, a prerequisite for life as it’s known on Earth.

Kepler-186f is an “Earth cousin,” not twin

Scientists have described Kepler-186f as a cousin to Earth. The Kepler-186 star is dimmer than the sun, thus the planet might be somewhat similar to Earth in size, but its star isn’t the same as the sun. So, it is an Earth Cousin and not a Twin because it has similar characteristics, but a different parent.
